DIRECTOR: DAMIN MURDOCK, BACS, J.D, LL.M

Damin Murdock is the Director of Winchester Young & Maddern Solicitors. He is admitted as a barrister and solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales, a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland and a barrister and solicitor to the High Court of Australia.

Prior to Mr Murdock’s appointment at WYM,  Mr Murdock was employed as an Associate Director of a law firm situated in the central business district of Sydney.  Mr Murdock holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, a Juris Doctor Degree from Queensland and a Masters of Laws from Europe. He is regularly engaged in commercial and property disputes and frequently appears in Courts in New South Wales and Queensland. SPECIAL COUNSEL: GLENDON YOUNG

Glendon Young was admitted as a solicitor to the Queensland Supreme Court on 19 December 1976. The same year, Glendon commenced work as a partner of a mid-sized CBD legal firm initially with responsibility for the commercial area of the firm including the lending and finance work but subsequently headed the Litigation Department. In 1986 Glendon was admitted as a barrister and solicitor to the High Court of Solomon Islands.

In 1995 Glendon commenced his own business practising law and providing consultancy advice and during the period up to 1998, Glendon advised on the development of land subdivisions and the development of a new hotel at Peregian on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. Glendon now practices in several areas of law including building disputes and provides advice to a range of clients from public companies to individuals across many areas of Law. Outside of work Glendon enjoys football and his extended family.

Sherlene Lee, LL.B, G.D.L.P

Selina Chung and Sherlene Lee are both admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and assist Mr Murdock and Mr Young with the day-to-day care and conduct of legal matters. Selina and Sherlene have both been involved with various litigation and property law matters and frequently attend to direction hearings, mediation conferences and property settlements.
